About New Millennium Strings

New Millennium Strings was born out of a need for amateur stringed instrument players to have a venue for growth and performance in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Many members have had professional instruction or are currently studying with private teachers as well as performing with various Bay Area community orchestras, symphonies, or other musical groups or organizations. Each member of NEW MILLENNIUM STRINGS brings a wealth of performance technique, expertise, and years of playing his or her stringed instrument: Violin, Viola, Cello, or String Bass.

The performance of benefit concerts is the driving force for NEW MILLENNIUM STRINGS, and this program at Saint Ambrose represents our second opportunity to fulfill our goal of helping to raise funds to meet specific needs.
