Adrienne Herbert
Violin Soloist
Violinist Adrienne Herbert began her musical studies in Kansas and continued on to complete a Bachelor of Music degree and performance certificate from the St. Louis Conservatory. She received her Master of Music degree from the Juilliard School in 1993 and went on to play for the New World Symphony under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas from 1993 to 1995.
She is the principal second violinist of the Midsummer Mozart Festival and continues to play chamber music and perform with many Bay Area orchestras including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony, and Santa Rosa Symphony. Ms. Herbert also maintains an active teaching schedule. For the past two years she has been on the faculty of the San Domenico School in San Anselmo. She currently teaches violin at her home studio, where her four-year-old son Oliver is one of her favorite students.
