Howard Kadis

Guitar and Mandolin Soloist

Howard Kadis is a classical guitarist, lutenist, and mandolinist who has been an active performer in the Bay Area for the last 25 years. He received his BA and MA in music from Cal State Hayward where he studied with James Bertram.

He has also been a frequent performer with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra, most recently in the 1998 production of Monteverdi's Coronation of Poppea. He has also appeared with the San Francisco Symphony, the California Symphony, the San Jose Symphony, the Joffrey Ballet and the San Francisco Ballet orchestras, and the Sante Fe Opera Orchestra. He has appeared as a guest of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and has performed numerous solo and chamber music concerts.
