Kara Koffron

Flute

Since 1976 Kara Koffron has played and studied the flute in the Bay Area. She has been a performing member of the Napa Symphony, Sonoma State University Orchestra, Dominican College Orchestra, and the Vallejo Symphony. Her teachers have included Bonnie Lockett, Leone Buyse, Priscilla Call-Essert, Amanda Hahn, and most recently, Rebecca Ayres. She has been the principal flutist of New Millennium Strings since 1999.

Kara was featured as a soloist in the May 2003 concert of New Millennium Strings, playing the Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp.
