Peter Lemberg
Oboe Soloist
Peter Lemberg, who is a Bay Area native, graduated with a BA from San Francisco State University. He has studied oboe with Marc Lifschey, John Mack, and Ray Duste. Me. Lemberg is currently the principal oboist with Western Opera Theatre (the touring orchestra for the San Francisco Opera) and for West Bay Opera in Palo Alto. He free-lances extensively in the Bay Area and has been a member of the following symphonies: San Cruz County, Fremont, Oakland East Bay, California, Santa Rosa, Monterey, Napa, San Jose, and San Francisco. Mr. Lemberg lives in Foster City, California.
